I am 25 until March 07, am happily married and have three cats. We're waiting until we're financially ready for children, so that might be another five years. I don't mind, because it gives us more time together.I have a crappy job right now, while I'm waiting for college, and my last job was with the US Army. Hopefully my next job will be more fulfilling, or at least regular day shifts and less stressful. I deal with the public. Never get a job where you have to deal with the public. People are fucking jerks, and fucking retarded. Hrm, what else. I'll probably never use this thing, but I thought I'd give it a fair shot for someone who asked. What do I like to do in my spare time..
I like to go online, a lot. You'll mostly find me at gaiaonline.com. Or I might be watching videos on youtube, while talking to my friends on AIM. I don't give out my contact information, because quite frankly, I won't talk to anyone but a few certain folks. I just hide invisibly from most of my current contacts anyway.
I like to watch movies. And tv series.
I like to read. I have over a thousand books. Science fiction and fantasy are my usual fare. My favorite authors are Juliet Marillier and Piers Anthony.
Music
I like a lot of diferent types of music. Right now I'm obsessed with Regina Spector, and my last obsession was Johnny Cash.
Some of my all-time favorites are Jonny Lang, Kaia, The New Radicals, and Tom Petty.
Movies
I have over three hundred movies. I really don't pick. But I'm less inclinded toward mature chick flicks, western types, and crime drama. I mostly like drama, comedy or romantic comedy, some cartoon and anime, and puzzle movies.
Idols
I don't really look up to anyone in particular. Sorry.
Video Games
I like the Nintendo DS and the PS2. I'd like the PSP and the Wii and all that but I don't have them and I'm not likely to get them any time soon.
I like gameboy rpg and puzzle games, though I don't play them often anymore.
Again, I don't play games at all often, but on PS2 my favorites were ICO, Ridge Racer (any of them), the Driver series, and Kinetica, which is my all-time favorite game. I also like Tekken and Guilty Gear, Capcom vs SNK and all that stuff. I lost my memory card in a move, but I -was- in the middle of Kingdom Hearts 1. I left off on that and Ico last year, before I moved here. I had to put it all in storage, and haven't played in forever. I think the only game I took the time to beat (most of mine are game games, and not finish games) was Devil May Cry 1, which I borrowed from a friend and really ought to buy once I find my memory card again.
On my computer I have old school Nintendo games on an emulator, and sometimes it's fun to break out the Mario Brothers, which is the most common set of games I'll play, out of the many that I have. Why that set? Cause it's mostly that, The Empire Strikes ack, and Little Nemo that I had as a kid. I like to play Snow Brothers sometimes too.
I don't play often, but I enjoy the Black and White and Civilization series as well.
