There has been alot of talk and hype as to how the drug companies are pushing medecins that people don't really need just to make a fast buck. Now let me say right off the bat that I am the original conspiracy theorist. I would not put it past them to do that and I do in fact feel that they are suborning the nations school systems into believing that most kids need to be on ritalin and the like.
Now to the meat of the mumm, I recently had a family member that was diagnosed with a certain disease. the medications that are being prescribed for that person are very debilitating. Now this family member has a friend that is telling her that they had the exact same diagnosis but went the way of natural medicine as opposed to conventional and was totaly cured. now this holistic/natural doctor is promissing her the sun moon and the stars pointing to his many successes in this field and that the other Convensional Dr. is either unknowing about the natural method or just trying to push the drug companies adgenda.
How would you council this person? would you 1. tell them to run both sets of treatment at the same time, or 2. tell them to pick one and roll the dice? |
