ok, so I'm here at work. The floor is empty. Hell, most of the building is empty. Today is a holiday for most but here I am at work cause I needed to take a day off next week instead. I feel like I've gotten a lot done already. No line at the scanner/copier. No line at the coffee machine. It's so quiet. I had another weird dream the other night. Me and my friends were sitting on the edge of this "cliff" overlooking the water. A couple of friends fell into the water. It was really cold. I watched for a bit than I jumped in too. The water had become a mud bath and there was lots and lots of people painting themselves with clay. I'm thinking my dream was telling me it's time to go back to the spa. Maybe next month!

Tomorrow should go by fast. We're having a lunch and gift exchange at work. Today is dragging though. Don't have much to do. I'm supposd to go play pool with Joe this weekend. He told me to think of something we could bet cause he claims he's going to beat me. I couldn't think of anything. Any suggestions? I haven't decided if I'm going to G's on Saturday. I kinda want to go but I haven't felt much like singing lately. I'll probably go, just to say "hi" even if I don't stay all night.

I'm totally excited! I got a call after lunch and found out I get to go to Jingle Ball. My boy is going to have such a great time. I've been wanting to take him to a concert for awhile now but it seems like they're all during the week lately. What a great show for his first concert. Did I mention I'm excited?

It's another Monday. We finally got some rain and I can't be out playin in the puddles cause I've got to work. Yeah, right work. C'mon I'm on a break right now. It's only my 3rd break of the day. This weekend was great. Having a four day weekend was a little confusing to my inner clock though. I kept waking up at crazy times and thinking, time to get ready for work. Saturday night came round and I had completetly forgotten that I was supposed to play pool on Sunday. Luckily my mom & dad were available to spend time with my boy and I was able to go. Sonia asked if I wanted to go on a cruise with a group of girls in April. Sounds excellent to me. Gotta see if I can save up some coin. Suze and I walked at the lake on Sunday afternoon. We took a different path than usual and walked farther than before. I hope this rain continues cause the Lake is looking really dry.

Friday I went to the Haunted Trail with Suze. I'll definitely be going again next year. Maybe with a bigger group it would be even more fun. There was a group of screamers right behind us and that kinda sucked a bit. The "ghouls" makeup was very well done. There was one in particular that got to me. I walked into this structure and there was a low wall. There was a guy in the far corner behind the wall on bungee cords. I knew he was going to jump out at us but it still scared me cause you never know when... We went to Norm's for a bit afterward. Interesting. I hadn't been there in about a month. Jared was back in town. He and Zack were making bets about Sue Ellen's panties among other things. As I walked up to them, Zack said something about not telling me. It was nothing, I'm sure. But I was curious. I tried to get Jared to tell me later, but no dice. Saturday I stopped in for a quick visit at G's. Matt, Chuck, Josh, and Jared were there. Well on their way to getting shit-faced. I sang a couple of songs but I just wasn't in the mood so I went home. Sunday I ran errands and played some 9-ball with the team. I lost my round but I played pretty well. Now, it's back to work I go.

Another night of interrupted dreams What brings me wide awake? I walk among the shadows Searching for answers and find nothing. Decisions that plague my mind, remain undecided. I rest my head and try one more time to find solace in sleep.

Why do I even call my ex? It never fails that I end up pissed off. He makes comments about shit that is none of his business. It's time to lay it out to him so that maybe he'll keep his mouth shut going forward. Yeah right...

Today I had 2 hours of work, than it was off to the 3rd Annual Tax Olympics (team building event). We started with a scavenger hunt that encluded treking several miles around Balboa Park. The clues were quite difficult but most of the teams did well. We played Volleyball and Dodgeball. We had a donut on a string eating contest and a relay race. My favorite part was during the relay race. The team captain had to stick their face in a bowl of whipped cream and chocolate sauce and get 3 worms out using only their mouth. The pictures after that were the best! I almost forgot to mention the food. They had the same business that comes out each year to make us food. Carne & Pollo asado tacos with cilantro, guac, and onions. They also made this thing called moola (spelling?) that had cheese and the tortillas were on top & bottom instead of wrapped around the rest. Let the weekend begin. We're going for a walk at the lake later and I'm really looking forward to the Spa on Sunday. Time to get going.

Have you been having problems with lostcherry? I have. It started when I tried to go to some peoples pages. My browser would freeze and I would have to end the task and close the browser. It just happened again, this time when I hit the home button. Is lostcherry getting to big? Could that be causing the problem.
