Every year I go through this dilemma with my parents. They say I am too dificult to shop for. The reason for this is because if there is something I really want, I usually go out and buy it myself. This drives my family (except for my sister) nuts.
Over the last 10 months I have discovered that I have a talent for working with clay, and I have handmade all my christmas gifts this year. I find that I value the things made by hand more dearly than anything bought in a store. My worry is that my family (except for my sister) does not feel the same.
So here's the question I put before you. What type of gift would you value more;
A) One made by Hand
or
B) One bought from a store
Please include some input on this. This is the first year that I've not bought all of my gifts, and I'm worried about seeming cheap. |
