hey folks,
in the very near future we'll be replacing the old private message system with our cherry email stuff. you won't have to do anything to cut over, but i wanted to give everyone a heads up because really old private messages will be gone when we move to the cherry mail system.
if you have anything older than a couple days in your current private message inbox that you really want to keep, i suggest you save it (cut & paste or screen shot) to your computer.. when we cut over to cherry mail for private messages, it will include all your PM's over the last few day, but nothing older.
also, the weird behavior of the yellow 'unread messages' alert in your alert box is a side effect of us migrating to the new cherry mail system. once we cut over, that weird behavior should go away (and be replaced with all new weird behavior, yay!).
ps: i'm still working on the shoutbox... /sigh.
pps: we have some sweet new home pages which are almost completed, everyone will have the option of using whichever one they like the most (including the current one).
