+ We got there hella late(Missed: The Smashup, Into Eternity, and Sanctity, boo!)...arrived during Arch Enemy's set..AE churns out wonderful music, IMO, but Angela's showmanship sucks..she wasn't entertaining really, none of them were..they seemed tired. +At the Fillmore, SF: Ok, so we got there late..again.(I blame the drugs.) And missed 1349, oh the HORROR! Goatwhore pumped out some great, blackened music..but they're pretty boring on stage. Next up was Sunn 0))), who are the exact opposite of Goatwhore imo. Sunn's stage presence was incredible! Starting like 10 minutes before their set, the room was filled with fog..then out they came, robed in cloaks. All we could see on stage were dark, hooded figures..amazing. Sunn's music(Drone/Doom) is lacking to me..I just can't understand that genre, so we went outside for some cancer sticks for the remainder of their set. Day-dreaming
Given the events of the years previous, it is hard not to see things in quite a different light. (Know what I mean?) Take, for example, a monotonous drive home from a day of work. I'm sure the desire to work has been greatly overcome by a desire to spend time in quiet introspection, but life must go on. Anxiety Issues!!!!
The past actually Year I have been dealing with anxiety issues going from not so bad to much worse in the past few months...I havent been able to leave my house and feel comfortable unless i was with people close too me...Well On Feb 9th I finally got to see a shrink and he prescribed me meds they are no joke I took one this morning and it kicked my ass hard I had to sleep and was knocked in and out most the day till 3pm. So we got in from San Diego at 4 am yesterday morning. Dusty (our new chick in the squadron) came to the house with me because her car got towed when we were out. Last weekend I watched the last episode of M*A*S*H for the first time in many years. I forgot most of what happened in it and I am was happy that I did. Today is the 5th anniversary of the day my momma died. I have tried to look at where I was then and where I am now but sometimes the pain just grips me. I can remember our last conversation. Recently I heard something while watching an episode of Eureka7. The title was: DIfferentia. Some Sad News
Hope is doing great after her surgeries and we have already found her a terrific home. She is going to her new home tonight where she will get all the Love she deserves..... As some of you know, I lost my Boxer Mercedes last year to Canine Lymphoma which is Cancer throughout her lypmh glands. It was aggressive and took her within 6 months. Recently, her sister Gretchen had a lump on her leg, they took a sample and said it was Cancer. She is young and strong enough for the surgery so they removed the lump from her leg. They sent it out to be tested and it was discovered that the Cancer had spread to the surrounding tissue which means there was no clean tissue and we dont know how far the Cancer has gone. She is 7 and acts like a puppy...we are not sure when the Cancer will show up again or how soon but I am somewhat happy that it is not as aggressive as what Mercedes has. So I am keeping my fingers crossed and I am going to make the most of my time with her now that I have a heads u

My Thoughts
Some people knew what happened thursday the 12th late night in Buffalo NY. We got hit by a bad storm that took down trees and limbs of trees and made the power and heat go out. So, scotty was supposed to get home on saturday...he's been in afghanistan for about 3 weeks...and then it was changed to monday...and now it's been changed to tuesday. sucks. but whatever i guess it's only a few days right??? also...my car got broken into...which is TOTALLY NOT COOL!! but they didn't smash the window or anything...nor did they take anything...they just dumped everything out and freaked me out...idiots. the lock is cracked now...and it gaps open when i turn the key...but the doors still lock...so i guess i turned out lucky!! i'm gonna be getting some halloween decorations tonight...and keep myself pretty busy...and hopefully i'll get to sleep in tomorrow. i'm going to a halloween social...so i hafta find a costume also...but it's ok...i love finding costumes!! i hope everyone has a great weekend!! bye!!
