At 40, I have come to realize that though I still harbor a little hope for 'fairy tale endings', I know that my ending will most likely never end that way. There is a lot I could say, but I will stick to the basics. I am a student at UConn, and enjoy being there. I am a double science major (Molecular and Cellular Biology, and Physiology and Neurobiology), and also work in a lab. A very watered down version of what we are doing in this lab is we are currently working on getting a protocol down to analyze stem cell RNA so that we can determine how a stem cell becomes differentiated into a specific cell type. This way we can later direct stem cells to become a specific type of tissue, to eventually make grafts. I have an on campus apartment which is much better than living in a dorm.
